What Are Your Thoughts? Got A Blade or Die Cutting Machine?

And the winner of Sticker Paper is..... Kathleen! Congrats! Kathleen, please email me your address so I can send some goodies out to you! Jen@CoconutScrapbooking.com
Thank you for everyone's comments! There are a few samples left if you would like to try some (see the link below!)!!!

Sticker Paper Update: Ok! I got my hands a few samples of a few colors of these papers! I will do a random drawing on Saturday and give some away. Here are some answers for your questions: You can adjust your pressure on your cricut (or similar machine) so that it only cuts through the adhesive part of the paper, and not the back. This will also save on wear-n-tear on your blade. *good to know!* Also, it sticks wonderfully to the sticky cutting pad that comes with your cricut!

I have a few limited amount of these papers to try out, but if everyone likes them, I WILL restock them, I think they just sound fun (and convenient)!!!! Click here to view the papers!

Hello Coco'nutty Paper Crafters! I saw the AdornIt, Carolee's Creations has "Sticker Paper". It is described as "easy to use peel & stick papers. Journaling squares couldn't be easier with our lined sticker paper. Sized to fit your cutter perfectly with an appealing assortment of designs. 6 x 12 inches." It sounds fabulous! Paper that fits perfectly in my Cricut, and I don't have to run it through my sticker machine, or add adhesive! The paper is adorable: Dots, Old-styled Graph, Aged Note Paper, Cashmere green, etc.

HAS ANY ONE USED THIS? DO YOU THINK IT'S A GOOD IDEA?

I was thinking of stocking it up at The Coconut ScrapShop, but I thought I would get your opinion! *BLOG CANDY* Will be given in a random drawing. Please post a comment! I would appreciate your ideas! Thanks Cuties! Drawing will be held Saturday around noon CST. I would love to hear from you!~~~

That sounds awesome! I don't have a sticker machine, so I end up having to use my glue pen on all those letters... so annoying! I would be very interested in seeing how that paper worked.

Hmmm....it sounds really great Jen - I have a Cricut and this sure would come in handy if it is cute paper! Would love to see some of it!! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

I honestly have not worked with these kinds of paper. I have seen a video tutorial at creatingkeepsakes website about being able to cut vinyl with the silhouette but that's far as my knowledge goes. Maybe just buy one and try it out then if it works out then stock the store up. just my two cents. :)

This does sound really cool! I have a Cricut and this would be so much easier than putting the letters and such through my sticker maker. My only reservation would be that the paper has to come in colors and designs that will match what is in my layout. I'd totally be up for trying it out though.
Thanks!
Cheryl

I don't have a cutter, but I am a big fan of Carolee's Adornit products. I think they're fabulous.

Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving a comment! I would love to know more about those papers too... I have to say that it would be prefect not to glue them after they are cut! :)

Hi Jen, I haven't used these products but I have used contact & it saves a lot of time as it is already sticky on the back, the only thing I find is that it kills the blades a bit quicker, but I find it handy for all those letters etc
Good luck with your decision

I wonder about the adhesive on the paper. Is it compatible with the mat adhesive on the Cricut? And I wonder how quickly it will "kill" the blade on the Cricut? Otherwise, if it does work, it would be a great boone.

Okay, being me I had to do some research and found this link that shows you some of the sticker paper. There are some really pretty papers in here that I would buy - thought I would share. Hope you don't mind Jen, just thought I would enable - LOL! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

Alex, thank you! It's so new AdornIt does not even have it on their web site yet. :)

Love the idea! Using Cricut, certain fonts cut at smallest size are sooooooooo tiny to get all the letters with adhesive! this would save so much time and effort!

sounds fabulous, unfortunatley I do not have a cricut, but it is on my list!

Yeah...I don't have a cricut machine either...but it does sound cool. :) I'd still probably buy it and play with it.

Hi Jen, I took a look at the papers that you stocked and I love them!!! The price is great too! I espcially love the notebook ones - they would look sooooo cool with the different cuts that Cricut makes!! Thanks for getting in the samples...I'm off to order some!

I have the OLD die cut machine from Sizzix. Like 5 years old. The one that takes the big Dies. Got it as a gift, but no dies for it. It has sat lonesome in my garage all that time. I want a new little one. Something I can take to crops

I have the wizard and I love it but would love to make stickers out of some them. so if some of the papers are already have sticky stuff on them then i would differently buy as this way i would have available stickers on hand at any time.

Hi everyone - I work for Adornit, I'm the editor there. I can tell you honestly, this sticker paper is the best. It's great for your blade machines, but also wonderful for any and every scrapping use. It's high quality cardstock paper, good adhesive and the designs are cute too.
